PERGE, ASPENDOS Perge where Hittites had settled in 1500 B.C. is 19 km away from Antalya. Perge is said to have been the oldest settlement region of Pamphylia. It was known that Saint Paul had stopped in Perge on his way to Rome when Perge was an important city in Pamphylia. The ancient remains found in this city are Agora, Hellenistic Gate, Roman Gate, Collonaded Street, Roman Baths, Gymnasium, Monumental, Fountain, Acropol, Theater, and Stadium. Aspendos’ history goes back to 1000 BC, and many historians link it to the Greek sailors of Argos. Though it has later been a part of the Roman Empire, Aspendos always kept its Hellenistic heritage which can be seen by the design of the city’s theater. With a capacity of 7.000 people, the theater is so well preserved that it is being used even today on a regular basis. 2. DEMRE, MYRA, ST. NICHOLAS The legend of Santa Claus is built around the life and miracles of an early Christian, Saint Nicholas. Saint Nicholas was named “The Wonder maker”, for many miracles that were attributed to his intercession. He had a reputation for secret gift-giving, such as putting coins in the shoes of those who left them out for him and thus became the model for Santa Claus. You will visit, the Myra ancient city (Demre today) and the church of Saint Nicholas, before returning to the hotel, for dinner and overnight. 3. AQUAPARK Aqua Parks are new forms of entertainment in Antalya. Everyone from children to elders can have a nice time in these parks. Feel the adrenaline pumping, as you travel over various Waterslides, and feel the excitement. 4. BOAT TOUR KEMER / PHASELIS BAY You will be picked up from your hotel and brought to Kemer harbor. A boat will take you to Phaselis bay which was used as a commercial port city centuries ago. A long break will be given to visit this historical bay and to swim. Guests who would like to visit Phaselis historical region will be transported on small boats to the beach. And the other guests enjoy the sun, sea, and nature. Fish, pasta, rice, and different salads will be served at lunchtime. 5. VILLAGE TOUR Southeast of Antalya, Turning left from Tasagil Village we arrive in Tosagirini Village (85 km from Antalya). You can visit a typical village Mosque and a typical village house. After a short (Turkish) coffee break, you will visit the Köprülü Canyon (National Park). After crossing the famous Roman Bridge (Oluk Köprüsü) you will be offered lunch in a natural restaurant by the river. 6. JEEP SAFARI / KEMER A true exploration experience with a jeep safari day trip into the towering Taurus Mountains, to an altitude of 1000 meters. The tour takes you past ice-cold streams and allows you to plunge into rivers to cool off. You will be offered your lunch in a natural restaurant by the river. You may choose to drive yourself or ask for an expert driver. 7. BOAT TOUR / MANAVGAT WATERFALL You will enjoy an adventurous boat cruise on the Manavgat River to see the pelicans and the turtles play. This cruise will take you to the opening of the Mediterranean Sea where you will enjoy a barbecue party. You can take a walk along the Manavgat riverside, the perfect way to digest your lunch. Or, staying at the resting place, you can swim and sunbathe in the sea or on the riverside. After lunch, you will return to the start point and take the bus to visit Manavgat Waterfall.
